In order to use the AdWords Summary report to gain insights about the performance of your PPC campaign, you'll first need to give the platform authorization to connect to your Google AdWords account. To begin the setup process, click Set Up Google AdWords.

This will bring you to a Google sign-in page where you'll have to login and choose which account you'd like to connect with the platform. Once you've completed this setup process, you'll be redirected to the AdWords Summary report.

Note: It may take some time for the AdWords Summary report to load once you've first connected your profile.

Once the platform loads your Google AdWords data, you'll be able to see a wealth of new information. Let's start at the top right by clicking on Report Settings. The Report Settings pop-up window allows you to change the Google AdWords profile associated with your campaign.

The first set of options allows you to adjust the date range of the report and switch between Campaigns, Ad Groups, Keywords, or Ads. You can also choose between Search and Display ads, or display all.

The second section displays a graphical representation of common key performance indicators over time. You can choose between Clicks, Impressions, Conversions, or Cost.

Beneath the graph, a number of cards display the key data points for determining the success of your PPC campaign. These numbers will update based on whether you are looking at Campaigns, Ad Groups, Keywords, or Ads.

Finally, you'll see a spreadsheet representation of the data that allows you to drill down between Campaigns, Ad Groups, Keywords, and Ads at the click of a button.
